Reading Next
Have you read anything by the author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie? If so, what do you think of her writing? What are y’all reading now? Please post your WWW links below in the comments if I haven’t already visited them.
HAPPY READING!!!
I haven’t read anything by Adichie, but the excerpts sound really good! I love The Odyssey!
Adichie’s books on feminism are short and wonderfully powerful. I’ve enjoyed those so far. I’ll be reading the new translation of The Odyssey by Emily Wilson that came out late last year. I’m looking forward to it!
Oh, I might need to try that one! Let me know how it is 😊
Will do!
I loved your review of She Lies in Wait and have added it (I think?) to my TBR! Happy reading and thanks for stopping by my WWW!
I’d love to do a re-read of Harry Potter – if I could only find more hours in the day!
I decided this time to listen to HP on audio and the audiobooks are actually really good. I have a long-ish commute to and from work and also listen when I’m exercising. I do one book a month, which isn’t too stressful. It’s been fun so far to revisit HP. More time in the day would be lovely. 🙂
She Lies in Wait is “waiting for me” on my Kindle. Eager to start reading it. I enjoyed The Death of Mrs. Westaway, and Say Nothing seems to beckon to me. Enjoy! Here’s MY WWW POST
I think you might enjoy She Lies in Wait! Our book club met and discussed The Death of Mrs. Westaway just last night, and there was not one bad rating. We all seemed to enjoy it. I’m looking forward to making progress on Say Nothing, since I’m heading to Northern Ireland later this year. Thanks for stopping by!
I plan to read this book by Ruth Ware, glad you liked it. My post is here: https://wordsandpeace.com/2019/02/11/mailbox-monday-february-11/
My book club met to discover Ruth Ware last night, and we all agreed that we liked it. I think we all enjoyed it more than Ware’s Woman in Cabin 10 as well. I hope you enjoy it too!
I plan to read the Ware book – and am excited to hear about Americanah and The Trial of Lizzie Borden! Happy reading!
Yes! Chamber of Secrets! I need to reread it this year, it’s been a while since my last reread. 🙈 Enjoy!
I am so glad I am rereading HP. I love those books so much! I decided my reread would be in audiobook form this time and they have been wonderful so far.
I’ll have to check those out. 😍
I want to read She Lies in Wait and The Greatest Love Story Ever Told. Here’s mine: https://readwithme2018.com/2019/02/13/www-wednesday-february-13th-2019/
Both were great! Thanks for leaving your link! 🙂
I love Adichie’s writing – Purple Hibiscus and Half of a Yellow Sun are brilliant. I still have Americanah on my TBR and I’m so looking forward to reading it. I’m waiting for a time when I can spend a chunk of time getting lost inside that book.
Here’s my week in books: https://rathertoofondofbooks.com/2019/02/13/this-week-in-books-13-feb-2019-what-are-you-reading-this-week/
Yeah…I don’t think I will actually get to Half of a Yellow Sun, because I am taking my time with Americanah. It is really good so far. She is such a powerful writer. Thanks for stopping by and sharing your link!
You have so many books in this post I want to read! Americanah, The Greatest Love Story Ever Told (love your review of that one!) and love that you’re revisiting Harry Potter, I’d love to do that one day!
I am slowly making progress on Americanah. It is not a book to hurry through. I’m really enjoying it so far. I am listening to the HP series. It makes my commute to and from work so much more enjoyable. 🙂
It’s a good idea, I do a majority of my reading on my commute (hence my blog title!) and love how fast some journeys seem to go with a great read/listen!
Great books! I’ve been wanting to reread the HP but there are so many new books I want to read right now. Ah!! No enough time in a day.
I do like the look of The Trial of Lizzie Borden. Hope you enjoy it. Happy Reading.
I listened to The Greatest Love Story Ever Told and loved it! Such a fun book! I’m glad you enjoyed it.
It was definitely one of those rare moments where I was happy to listen to the audio rather than read the physical book.
