Reading Next
I’m heading on brief but much needed vacation next week, so I will miss next week’s WWW, but I am hoping to get some fun reading in. What are y’all reading now? Please post your WWW links below in the comments if I haven’t already visited them.
HAPPY READING!!!
I plan to read The da Vinci code by Dan brown next…
That’s a good one! Have you read Dan Brown before?
No, my first
Hope you enjoy it!
Thank you
I loved The Blind Assassin. I’m curious about The Power of Habit.
Enjoy your reading, and here’s MY WWW POST
I enjoyed The Blind Assassin so much more than I thought I would. Such great writing! I should have read more about The Power of Habit before reading it. I thought it would be more about the importance and steps toward habit-building. I spent much of the book confused on what I was reading. I couldn’t tell if the author was for or against habit-building. It was a bit of a let down and am surprised I even finished it.
I’m sitting here pretending not to be jealous of your upcoming vacation. xD Hope you enjoy!
I haven’t read East of Eden yet, but I always meant to. A read-along seems like a good way to do it.
Here’s my WWW Wednesday post.
LOL…I’m so looking forward to it! I’m visiting my BFF in Miami for just a long weekend of some girl time, beach time and some much needed R&R. May & June are going to be crazy busy and high-stress work months, so I thought I would need this.
I am almost done with part one of East of Eden (it’s a beast), which is about 120 pages, and am loving it so far – much more than I thought I would.
Awww, man. Just had to rub it in, didn’t you? Not just a vacation, but a vacation in Miami? On the beach. Great. Well, that’s it. I’m sneaking into your luggage. xD I’m sure I can fit around the books.
Sounds like a little R&R is definitely needed. Hope it’s as relaxing as it sounds like it’d be!
I know! Everyone should have a bestie who lives in Miami and will lay on the beach reading all day with you. I would definitely have to remove East of Eden to fit you in my luggage. It’s like a door stopper. lol
Pffft all my besties live in really lame places like New York, where it’s usually -293 degrees until mid-year, or South Africa, where it’s about 34390 degrees in the summer, which is a tad bit of an overkill. xD Although, in South Africa, depending on where you live, the beaches come to you, so there’s that. 😛
I totally need a connection to South Africa – wineries, safaries, Cape Town = amazing!
My friend’s in Durban, so that’s aaaaall the way across the country from Cape Town. xD His family’s rich, but he’s ghetto, so that’s fun. I’m not sure I would survive if I visited him LOL.
The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek looks good! I hope you enjoy it and your vacation!
My WWW
I thought that one would be a perfect beach vacation read! Thank you!
I have the Power of Habit on my huge physical TBR so I cannot wait to hear your thoughts! Enjoy your weekend and your reading! https://silverbuttonbooks.com/2019/04/17/www-wednesday-april-17-2019/
Should have my review of it posted today or tomorrow. Happy week of reading to you!
Oryx and Crake was really good, though I read it years ago. I hope you’re enjoying it. I keep kicking myself for not continuing the trilogy, despite owning all of the books for years.
Have a great vacation! 🙂
Thank you! 🙂
Your all “currently reading” are on my TBR. The Adventures of Kavalier and Clay is said a must-read for all, thought I have no idea what this book is about.
I like how you construct your reading, the seasonal TBRs and mainly that you stick to them!
I’m embarrassed to admit I’ve never read a Margaret Atwood book – and it’s something I need to correct. Have fun on your vacation!
