    • I enjoyed The Blind Assassin so much more than I thought I would. Such great writing! I should have read more about The Power of Habit before reading it. I thought it would be more about the importance and steps toward habit-building. I spent much of the book confused on what I was reading. I couldn’t tell if the author was for or against habit-building. It was a bit of a let down and am surprised I even finished it.

    • LOL…I’m so looking forward to it! I’m visiting my BFF in Miami for just a long weekend of some girl time, beach time and some much needed R&R. May & June are going to be crazy busy and high-stress work months, so I thought I would need this.

I am almost done with part one of East of Eden (it’s a beast), which is about 120 pages, and am loving it so far – much more than I thought I would.

      • Awww, man. Just had to rub it in, didn’t you? Not just a vacation, but a vacation in Miami? On the beach. Great. Well, that’s it. I’m sneaking into your luggage. xD I’m sure I can fit around the books.

Sounds like a little R&R is definitely needed. Hope it’s as relaxing as it sounds like it’d be!

      • I know! Everyone should have a bestie who lives in Miami and will lay on the beach reading all day with you. I would definitely have to remove East of Eden to fit you in my luggage. It’s like a door stopper. lol

      • Pffft all my besties live in really lame places like New York, where it’s usually -293 degrees until mid-year, or South Africa, where it’s about 34390 degrees in the summer, which is a tad bit of an overkill. xD Although, in South Africa, depending on where you live, the beaches come to you, so there’s that. 😛

      • My friend’s in Durban, so that’s aaaaall the way across the country from Cape Town. xD His family’s rich, but he’s ghetto, so that’s fun. I’m not sure I would survive if I visited him LOL.

  1. Your all “currently reading” are on my TBR. The Adventures of Kavalier and Clay is said a must-read for all, thought I have no idea what this book is about.
I like how you construct your reading, the seasonal TBRs and mainly that you stick to them!
