Excerpt from the audiobook addition of Dreams from My Father of Barack Obama’s speech while running for US State Senator:
“There is not a liberal America and a conservative America. There is the United States of America. There is not a black America and a white America, a latina America, an asian America. There’s the United States of America.”

HAPPY READING!!!
I listened to the road to Little Dribbling last year and thought it was hilarious.
It’s been a while since I read a Bill Bryson book, but I have several on my shelves – I should definitely pick one up soon!
A Bill Bryson read really helps with my wanderlust. So far Walk in the Woods and Sunburned Country are my favorites by him.
I have got Walk in the Woods on my shelf – thank you for inspiring me to read it sooner rather than later!
Love Bill Bryson! I’ve read several of his books and they’re always so funny.
Oh, Tess of the D’Urbervilles! That one has quite an ending!!
Unfortunately, I already know how it ends, but that is actually why I want to finish reading it. I’m at 65% and love Hardy’s writing.
Oh, I loved the Road to Little Dribbling! I watched the 24 in 48 happen but, sadly, with the move looming I was packing stupid things instead of reading. I cannot wait to be done with this transition period of life!

Moving is rough! I’ve moved sooo many times, and it never gets easier. Hope the move and transition are smooth and painless!
The Book Charmer sounds really interesting–I’m glad to hear that you enjoyed it!
And oooh, a 24in48 Readathon! I need to try one of those sometime!
Bryson sounds like an author right up my alley! (adds to booklist)
