WWW Wednesdays – August 28, 2019

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Time for another WWW Wednesdays, which is brought to you by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. If you too want to participate, answer the above questions and post that link on Sam’s page.

I got back into my reading groove this last week. This is mostly thanks to the Bout of Books readathon. It helped me focus my free time on reading. I managed to make progress on both my Focus on Authors and my Reading the Classics challenges.

    • I really enjoyed Eleanor & Park. That is why I decided to read more from Rainbow Rowell. I’m not enjoying her other stuff as much unfortunately, but I think that is just me discovering my reading tastes.

  1. Only three stars for Carry On? Oof. I just bought that today, since I’ve never read any Rainbow Rowell, but everyone seems to love her work, so I thought I’d give it a try.

On Writing is one of my favorite books about writing, and I love the glimpse into Stephen King’s life. I hope you enjoy it! It’s one I like to recommend a lot. :3

    • Yeah. I didn’t enjoy Carry On much at all. I read Rowell’s Eleanor and Park a few years back and really enjoyed it, but I’m not enjoy some of her other work as much unfortunately. I have heard nothing but great things about King’s On Writing and am really looking forward to it!

    • I’m glad I am not that only one that didn’t enjoy Carry On. My 3-star rating was generous. Fangirl is a little better but the two books are very much connected. Maybe I should have read Attachments instead.
