I’m getting pretty excited for the upcoming Dewey’s 24-hour Readathon this coming weekend. I am just starting to put together my book pile and will be posting my readathon progress through Saturday and into Sunday. Anyone else joining the readathon as well?

HAPPY READING!!!
Very intrigued by your readathon – I’ve never done one. Do you literally read for 24 hours straight? Will be looking out for your posts about it!
It took me multiple tries to actually make it a full 24 hours. I manage it pretty well now by entertaining myself with all the challenges and reading in all formats. If I get tired of sitting and reading, I take my audiobook on a walk, etc. It is fun. You should try it!
So you don’t sleep for 24 hours? Can you nap?? I love the idea of it but don’t think my eyes could take it otherwise haha!
You should do what feels right for you. I’ve taken naps during the readathon before. The period after 2am can be really hard.
I really need to read some Sherlock Holmes! Read some of the short stories but should probably try one of the proper books
I’m trying to read the complete Sherlock Holmes collection this year. I’m enjoying it so far, but I have a long way to go.
Still undecided about participating in Dewey’s because my last 24 hour readathon was an epic fail haha!
I’ve had some epic fails over the years too, but we should all persist for the sake of the books. 🙂
Unfu*k Yourself is definitely an interesting title. Seems like a lot of self-help books have interesting titles lately.
