Time for another WWW Wednesdays, which is brought to you by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. If you too want to participate, answer the above questions and post that link on Sam’s page.
Last week and over the weekend, I participated in a couple of readathons, which really helped me focus on my reading life a bit. It was nice to take some time with my books. I participated in Bout of Books 32 and the MBC Readathon. I was quite proud of my reading progress and achieved all my reading goals for the week.

What are y’all reading? Feel free to leave a comment below on the books I’m reading, the books you are reading, and/or your own WWW link.
HAPPY READING!!!
The Moonstone is one of those books I’m aware of, but have never read or even really know what it’s about. Glad to see you enjoyed it though, I might add it to my classics TBR list.

Yeah…of all the books on my shelf, I really was not that excited to read The Moonstone, but it turned out to be amazing! I think it is best to go into reading this one without knowing anything about it. I have to read more Wilkie Collins now.
I’ve read The Good Earth three times: once as an eighth grader, once as a young married, and once as an old(er) ahem! woman for my book club. It never gets old. I remember my horror as a young teen reading that the woman lay down in a ditch in the middle of her framework and delivered her own baby, then strapping it close to her body and continuing her work. When an adult there were other physical and mental horrors like starvation and mental anguish to deal with.
I am reading The Ninth Hour by Alice McDermott; Blue Like Jazz by Donald Miller, and The Gifts of Imperfection by Brene Brown at the current moment. All are most rewarding reads.
Yeah…she literally still made her husband and father-in-law dinner while in the process of giving birth. I do not know how I feel about this one so far. I love Brene Brown!
So many tempting books! I loved Brat and American Heiress…and years ago, The Good Earth was a favorite. Here’s MY WWW POST
Do you remember why you enjoyed The Good Earth? I’m definitely struggling with it right now. I just don’t like or relate to the characters at all.
Congrats on finishing Bout of Books 32! I started the challenge, but wasn’t able to finish due to life. I finished one of the three books I meant to read for that week.
I’ve been reading food theme books this week. Here’s my WWW Wednesday post:
