Time for another WWW Wednesdays, which is brought to you by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. If you too want to participate, answer the above questions and post that link on Sam’s page.
I haven’t posted a WWW in a while. The holidays got really hectic, but I am starting to get back on track. Over the weekend, I posted my 2021 favorite reads and the 2022 reads I am looking forward reading. Plus, I just rebranded the online book club that I host monthly and put it up on Meetup. If anyone is interested, please join us – International Journey Through Pages. We read all genres and mostly focus on reading books and authors from other countries, especially books in translation.

HAPPY READING!!!!
That cover for Heart of a Dog is eye-catching!
A bit of the book is from the perspective of the dog, which is quite interesting and well done.
You have such a great variety of genres! I’ve heard of The Mountains Sing but not read it, although I plan to. Did you enjoy it?
I did enjoy it, and it didn’t take me long to read it. There were some skeptics in our book club who thought it was a bit unrealistic and a bit disjointed. However, I am really gravitating toward family saga stories lately, especially ones with strong female characters.
Great, I’ll definitely have to check it out! I do think it is easy for big, multi-generational stories to feel everywhere, because they literally are (although I find that is part of the charm!).
Have you read The Vanishing Half, if you enjoy these types of stories? I’d say that is the ultimate family story with excellent female characters!
Funny enough The Vanishing Half is on my must read list for 2022: https://greatmorrisonmigration.wordpress.com/2022/01/17/my-must-reads-for-2022/. I’m looking forward to it!
Brilliant! I look forward to hearing your thoughts on it
This is such a great variety of books. I read all of the foundation series many years ago. Hope you enjoy it.
I like that you read lots of different types of books! So do I 😋
I am curious about Death in St. Petersburg. Enjoy your reading, and thanks for visiting my blog.
I love some Asimov books and scifi, but I was very disappointed by this one. I hope you are enjoying it.
Hmm, a novel set in St Petersburg? Tempting!
The Man Who Loved Books Too Much was fascinating
Furious Hours looks fascinating, and this is the first I’ve heard of it! Thanks for sharing.
All of your Reading Next covers look very interesting. Which are you most excited about?
Here’s my first WWW Wednesday, if you’re interested: https://wordsonkey.wordpress.com/2022/01/19/www-wednesday-01-19-2022/
I am looking forward to all my upcoming reads. So many books so little time. If I have to choose though, I am looking forward to The Lazy Genius Way the most. I have heard good things about it.
I was thinking the same, that one looks really good.
