Time for another WWW Wednesdays, which is brought to you by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. If you too want to participate, answer the above questions and post that link on Sam’s page.

Don’t be fooled by the huge list of books. I just haven’t participated in WWW for the last few weeks. I’ve been working very long hours and can’t wait until it slows down a bit for the holidays, and I can get back to discussing books!

      • I’m curious about the series – I saw it advertised. Did you see the movie… or maybe it was a miniseries, don’t remember…they made forever ago? I thought the books are better than that one. Hope you and your friend enjoy it!❤️

      • I think there have been a few movie/miniseries versions. I saw the David Lynch version from the 80s. I’m very interested in the new one because of the cast.

  1. Wow, you read quite a bit of books! I still need to read We Have Always Lived in the Castle, and I’m glad to see you rated it so highly! I’ve read The Graveyard Book and really enjoyed it (though it felt a touch episodic). Hope you enjoy, too! Happy reading.

    Here’s my WWW post.

    • I really enjoyed my month of Shirley Jackson. I liked The Haunting of Hill House the most with We Have Always Lived in the Castle a close second. I am getting The Graveyard Book on audio. Coraline was interesting on audio, so I am hoping the same thing for The Graveyard Book.

    • Coraline was written very much for younger people. It is creepy (especially the audio version I listened to) and filled with adventure with a strong overlying message that kids should appreciate the family they have even if they are not perfect. 🙂 Other than Coraline I’ve only read Good Omens, so I am hoping to read The Graveyard Book and American Gods this month.

    • My book club passed on reading this, so I convinced my friend to make this our next read after East of Eden. We read books that are divided into parts. We discuss one part over a dinner once a month. It is fun and makes the the books last longer. I’ve been wanting to read it for so long!
